We've come to base much of our planting schedule on our lovage. It's always one of the first ones up for the season, and a reliable indicator of conditions. Lovage (Levisticum officinale) is a perennial with a flavor between celery and parsley. All of the plant is edible, tasty, and nutritious. Great in salads or garnishes.
