Germination | Direct sow into small mounds 1/2 to 3/4 inch deep after last frost or when soil temp reaches about 70 degrees F. In colder climates, sow indoors in peat pots (squash doesn't like to be transplanted) no more than 4-5 weeks prior to last frost. |
