Also known as 'Monstrueux de Viroflay', this French heirloom spinach is fast growing and produces large, deep green, smooth leaves. Matures sooner than most hybrid varieties.
Germination | Direct sow 1/2 inch deep as soon as the soil can be worked in spring for a summer crop, or sow in late summer for a fall crop. Thin seedlings to 5-8 inches apart in rows 12-18 inches apart. Sow throughout cooler months for continual harvests. |
